L.I.F.E - Living in a free environment
Being the first of its kind, L.I.F.E. was started in 2012, the main agenda of every member involved, was to give farm animals the free environment that they deserve.
This year L.I.F.E. has been registered as a Trust and Society and has been successful in changing the lives of many rescued and rehabilitated animals. Trust Regn. No.: F45410 Society Regn. No.: 10838
Our mission is to create a haven for abused, old, handicapped and abandoned farm animals. We would like to develop a sanctuary, with the best of amenities, which will give our animals the chance to have freedom and space for them to live freely and peacefully.
We will be educating farmers in villages as to how they can gain from animals which have stopped giving milk or working in fields as well. By using their dung for organic farming and cow urine for medicinal purposes, and will teach them how to make different types of manure.
There will also be educational programmes introduced in schools to bring about awareness, not only about animals but also about organic farming which will be beneficial for humans and animals.
Animals in slaughterhouses are manhandled, tortured and ill-treated. Sometimes, they are held captive in the most cruel ways. We aim to save these animals, and give them a safer, more comfortable living.
